DMC are famous for having brought us the World DJ Championships, and now they take it one step further with their new Online DJ Competition open to everyone anywhere in the world.

Launched just hours before I wrote this story, the championships will start accepting entries on February 14, and the voting will commence on March 3rd.

The way it works is you register with DMC, then upload your 2 minute set video. The public vote for their favorite performances and every 2 week the top 10 go up before the DMC judges who select 2 winners from that round.

22 finalists from 11 rounds will then get to upload a 6 minute set for the finals between August 5th and August 8th when the final round of public voting will take place.

The Public Top 10 will be announced on August 30th, and then on September 5th the Judges will announce the results.
