Cubase 6 Trial Version Now Available
Steinberg have made a free trial version available for anyone who would like to test Cubase 6, and the best part is that it's fully functional for 30 days.
Well, it's not completely free, if you don't already own one, you still have to buy the Steinberg USB eLicenser to install the trial version. This sells for $24.99 at both zZounds & Sweetwater, and many other online and bricks and mortar stores as well. If you decide to purchase the full version of Cubase 6 later, Steinberg will deduct the price of the USB eLicenser from the purchase price.
How to get the trial version of Cubase 6
The first thing you'll need to do is decide which computer you're going to install it on, because you only get a single installation from a single USB eLicenser.
Next you have to go to www.steinberg.net/en/mysteinberg.html and set up a user account if you don't already have one. Alternatively you may be able to get a DVD from your local Steinberg dealer if you live outside the USA.
Finally you have to activate the software. You do that by getting an activation code from the MySteinberg site and then entering it into the eLicenser Control Software which is installed as a part of the Cubase 6 trial installation.
