AmpKit and AmpKit LiNK Guitar Interface and Software Review

There are now a number of ways you can connect your guitar to your iPad or iPhone.

iRig and Amplitube are a famous combination from IK Multimedia - but there are other options out there, namely the AmpKit App & AmpKit LiNK Guitar Interface brought to you by Agile Partners and Peavey.

Guitar software and iOS interfaces for guitar have become a hotly contested area lately - so it pays to look around at your options before making a final decision.

IK Multimedia's offering now has multitrack recording, but AmpKit beat them to it on that score.

And some might argue that the AmpKit LiNK goes a couple of steps further on the hardware side, both in terms of durability and sound quality, but why don't you be the judge of that (feel free to post comments about your experiences with either of these two, or with any other option you've tried).
