Alesis Q49 - New 49 Note Keyboard Controller
It was only a few weeks ago that Alesis brought out their new Q29, and now they have followed up with the new Q49.
The Q49 is a 49-note keyboard controller that works with virtually all music software and MIDI hardware devices. The compact controller features USB-MIDI and traditional MIDI jacks for easy connection to Mac, PC and MIDI hardware.
It offers a full compliment of controls including pitch and modulation wheels, octave up and down buttons, an assignable data slider and the ability to send program changes from the keys. Because it is USB bus-powered, you don't have to use a power adaptor - you can just plug and play.
As an added bonus it ships with a free copy of Ableton Live Lite, Alesis Edition software.
The Q49 is available from musical instrument and pro audio retailers and has a U.S. Retail Price of $199.00 and an estimated street price of $99.00.
